Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hijama / Wet Cupping therapy?

Hijama is the Islamic prophetic therapy that involves creating suction on the skin using cups, followed by small incisions to draw out stagnant blood. It is recommended in Hadith and is used for detoxification, pain relief, and overall healing. At CupFam, we follow full Sunnah protocol with clinical sterilisation.

Is Hijama safe? What are the risks?

When performed by a trained and certified practitioner using sterile, single-use equipment — Hijama is very safe. Our practitioners are MDHT-certified and follow strict clinical infection control protocols. Contraindications include certain blood conditions, pregnancy, and active skin infections — our intake form screens for these before every session.

How much does a session cost at CupFam?

Sessions start from ₹700 for Dry Cupping and go up to ₹1,500 for Hydra Facial Cupping. Wet Cupping / Hijama starts at ₹800. All prices are for individual sessions. We accept advance payment via Razorpay.
