Do you offer wet cupping (Hijama) or only dry cupping?

We offer Dry & Wet cupping both. Additionally, there are multiple other advance and new techniques of cupping which we offer as treatment or training part per requirement like fire cupping/moxa cupping/functional cupping, facial cupping etc.

Is cupping therapy painful?

No, its not painful at all. In wet cupping its just like minor pricking at times otherwise no pain complaints came from patient. However, if done by inexperienced person then it can be painful .

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?

We prefer appointments but walk-ins are also welcome as having staff to manage such a situation.

How long does a typical cupping session take?

That actually depends on no of cups applied basis diagnosis of ailment. Normally for 9-11 cups it takes approx. 1.5 hour

What should I wear or avoid before a cupping session?

Wearing a dress entire depends on season like summer or winter nothing to do with cupping. However, avoid any rough , nylon cloths. Prefer soft and cotton fabrics. For other precaution related to pre and post cupping procedure you may find answer in related question section. Like before cupping session person needs to be empty stomach for atleast 4 hours. Only water is allowed to drink and no cold drinks or tea etc is permitted. Also, must not have done any heavy exercise as well. Prefer to come post taking bath with warm water.

Is cupping safe for people with high blood pressure or diabetes?

Cupping like Dry cupping or moving cupping can be done in diabetes patient and will be helpful, just in case of wet cupping blood sugar levels must be within normal controlled range. Similarly, for hypertension cupping can be done and will be helpful but BP must be normal during the session and overall must be under control/within normal parameters.

Do you use disposable/single-use cups for wet cupping?

Yes, absolutely single use cups, gloves, dress, pricking needle or lancet/blades etc are used only which are then disposed of with proper biomedical waste protocols immediately post procedure and never used again even for same patient follow-up visits.

How much does a cupping session cost?

1 single session cost depends entire upon ailment/no of cups required/type of session. So this varies person to person as per requirement. But everything is explained well in advance before booking a session during discussion regarding package and no hidden charges or cost are there at our centre.

Do you offer package deals or memberships?

•Yes, we offer package deals; but no memberships open as of now.

Will I have marks or bruising after cupping, and how long do they last?

Marks or bruises depends entirely upon person to person stagnation levels which comes up during cupping session. Light marks may go in 2-3 days while dark stagnations mark may disappear within 7-10 days at max.

Do you offer facial cupping?

Yes, we offer facial cupping.

Is cupping therapy covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?

For insurance coverage, insured need to check their policy terms and conditions. Only after reading their policy wording and getting clarity from their agent they can opt for it. As its part of AYUSH treatment -policy covers Ayush treatments but again it depends upon policy to policy so we can’t assure on coverage.

Do you offer mobile or home-visit cupping sessions?

No we don’t offer any mobile or home-visit session since strict biomedical waste and hygienic precautions needed/required or to be followed which is not possible at home visit.

Are your practitioners licensed/certified?

Yes, out entire team consists of qualified/trained staff along with BUMS doctors to take care of entire session/workshops.

How often should I get cupping therapy done?

Again it depends entirely on person to person need/health conditions/ailment for which cupping is required. Our Doctors/Experts first take entire medical history and then suggestion further plan of therapy.

Do you treat sports injuries or post-workout recovery?

Yes, we provide cupping therapy for the same as well.

Can pregnant or postpartum clients receive cupping?

During pregnancy cupping is not permitted. However, postpartum assessment can be done and if health condition is good then therapist may suggest according.

Do you offer cupping therapy certification courses for practitioners?

Yes, we offer diploma and certification courses for practitioners/students who meet minimum eligibility criteria of that course.

What are your clinic hours, and are you open on weekends?

Yes, we are open on weekends. Timing is from 10 AM till 6PM.

Do you offer gift cards or gift certificates?

No we don’t offer any gift cards.
